Safety First
If you smell gas, suspect carbon monoxide, or see sparks, evacuate immediately and call 911. Do not attempt to operate your system if you suspect a safety issue.
Turn off your Boiler and monitor the pressure gauge for stabilization
Check the Boiler expansion tank for proper air charge
Look for leaks in the Boiler system that may cause pressure changes
Verify the Boiler automatic fill valve is operating correctly
Call for Boiler service if pressure fluctuations continue during operation
