Follow these emergency steps in order. If at any point you feel unsafe, evacuate and call for help immediately.
Safety First
If you smell gas, suspect carbon monoxide, or see sparks, evacuate immediately and call 911. Do not attempt to operate your system if you suspect a safety issue.

Turn off your Boiler to allow frost to thaw naturally

Check Boiler for proper airflow both supply and return
3
Verify the Boiler defrost cycle is activating as designed

Inspect the Boiler for dirty coils that may impede heat transfer
5
Call for Boiler service if frost continues to accumulate after thawing
